Testimonials from Summer 2018 .....

The weekend workshop with Ernesta Corvino was truly great. Many hours of class work over the 2 days and much valuable information. Ernesta’s knowledge of dance technique and history is the culmination of a lifetime in dance and a family dynasty that began with her father, Alfredo Corvino. A class with Ernesta means you will work hard, learn, and have fun doing it. She has a keen eye and can help dancers at any level. The new studio is gorgeous and well equipped. And the hospitality provided by Andra and Ernie is gracious and warm. -Gerry S.

The Corvino Ballet Sleepover Weekend Workshop was among the most inspiring, practically useful and satisfying workshops I have ever attended. The art form of ballet was addressed holistically with a superb blend of enormously valuable information, healthy, supportive perspective, and fun. My commitment to ballet as a teacher was re-invigorated, I enjoyed being in the beautiful countryside with the Corvinos, and I left feeling happy.
-Catherine G.

The Corvino Ballet Workshop was an amazing experience. I had such a great time learning in an atmosphere that was filled with kindness, sincerity and inspiration. I HIGHLY recommend this workshop to anyone who is interested in expanding and strengthening their knowledge of Ballet Technique, Ballet's origins and learning about the history of the Corvino Approach. In addition to all of the great knowledge that you gain during the workshop I would be remiss if I didn't  mention how much fun we had as well. The Corvino's warmth and hospitality is unsurpassed. I am grateful to have not only discovered the Corvino Approach but also grateful to have met two amazing people. Thank you Andra and Ernesta! -Amos M.

So much to learn, so little time. Thank you Andra Corvino & Ernesta Corvino for a wonderful weekend of pedagogy, ballet, character, baroque, pointe, meeting new friends and reconnecting with the ones I haven't seen in a long time. Just what I needed to continue my journey. - Andrea C.

The Corvino Weekend was an inspiring two-days of work hard, play hard. Feeling a little sore from the ballet, character and Baroque classes but happy to meet new friends, connect with old acquaintances and feel all the wiser from the discussions on pedagogy and dance history. - Dian D.

A wonderful weekend of ballet, character & Baroque dance, pedagogy, a heartwarming film made by Ernie about the life of Mr Corvino & his legacy, & great conversation!
