CORVINO BALLET SLEEPOVER WORKSHOP IN CHARACTER DANCE*
Saturday.....
11 to 12:15 - Ballet Class

12:30 to 1:30 - Character Class

1:30 to 2:30 - Lunch

2:30 to 3:30 - Free Time

3:30 to 5pm - Lecture (The History of Character Dance)

5 to 6 - Free Time

6 to 7 - Dinner

7 to 9 - Films

Sunday.....
11 to 12:15 - Ballet Class

12:30 to 1:30 - Character Class

1:30 to 2:30 - Character Choreography

2:30 to 3:30 - Lunch

3:30 to 5:30 - Character on the Beach

6 to 7 - Dinner

The cost for this workshop is $300 and includes most meals
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit 
2 weeks prior to the first day of the workshop.

*Character Dance is a technicalized and theatricalized form of folk dances from many nations including Russia, Poland, Hungary and Spain, among others. Many character dances appear in classical ballets such as Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty and Coppelia. You may wear a knee-length FULL skirt and character or jazz shoes.

In the 1940s, a young soloist from the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo fell in love with and married a beautiful photographer and costume maker from New York City.
