CORVINO BALLET SLEEPOVER OPEN COMPOSITION* WORKSHOP

Saturday.....
11 to 1pm - Ballet Class


1 to 2 - Lunch


2 to 2:30  - Getting started…..Discussion

2:30 to 4:30 – Exploring choreographic ideas in the studio with movement and music

4:30 to 5:30 - Sharing the day's experience


5:30 to 6:30 – Dinner

6:30 to 7:30 - Free Time

​7:30 to 8:30 - Films

Sunday.....
10 to 11 - Breakfast


11 to 1 - Ballet Class


1 to 2:30 – Continuing to create

2:30 to 3:30 – Lunch

3:30 to 4:30 – Sharing your work in progress with feedback


4:30 to 6 – Recreational time….Picnic on the beach and mini-golf and/or ping-pong, board games or just kick back and enjoy being  :)

The cost for this workshop is $300 and includes most meals
We require a 50% non-refundable deposit 
2 weeks prior to the first day of the workshop.

*The work you decide to create is totally your own. It can be based on any type of movement with or without music, text or silence. Please come with a basic idea and bring supporting inspiration such as a poem, a piece of music, a painting, etc. or just the idea itself. For this workshop we will concentrate on the solo form only.




  

Welcome to Corvino Ballet

In the 1940s, a young soloist from the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo fell in love with and married a beautiful photographer and costume maker from New York City.
